Troy Rainsberg has served as the CEO of Garage Kings since he purchased the brand in 2020. He became a raving fan of garage transformations back in 2017 when he and his wife had their own garage completely redone. It was the excitement that the completed project gave them that pushed Troy to decide his next Home Service venture would be in the Garage space. He started by partnering with his brother to open a Garage Kings dealership in Albany, NY. This cascaded into other locations in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Central New Jersey and eventually led to the purchase of the brand outright.
Prior to Garage Kings, Troy attended the University of Akron earning a degree in Business Finance. This led him into the HVAC industry where he eventually partnered with two others and would go on to grow a $350m+ business serving the heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and drain cleaning trades. The skills learned in these residential trades laid the groundwork for leading Garage Kings to “Own the Garage”. Initially starting with just installations of garage floor coatings, Garage Kings now installs garage doors, cabinets, slatwall organization systems, and overhead storage.
