Paul has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Masters in Accounting from Walsh College. He has had the opportunity to work for some entrepreneurs and enjoys using his knowledge and skill in financial management to assist business owners with growing their business. He has been in the franchise industry for over 18 years and is excited about individuals becoming successful franchise business owners.
Paul worked in the accounting department at Service Brands International from 2001-2004. During that time, SBI launched three brands: Mr. Handyman, 800 DryClean, and Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network. Paul gained valuable experience in financial accounting in a multiple brand environment at SBI. He was responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions and financial reporting.
In 2005, Paul was hired as the Controller for Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network, where he served for the past 14 years. Paul was a vital member of the CRDN team as the company grew in franchises and consumer sales. He provided accurate and timely financial information to the owners of the company and members of the CRDN team, set procedures to enhance the accuracy of the financial information, and found ways to make the accounting team more efficient. He also developed an efficient method of allocating shared costs to other brands and performed the accounting for CRDN’s entity formed under Canada’s laws in 2016.
