Dan Reese began his career in Chicago with various roles in Consulting and Private Equity. He then joined Heinz North America in Brand Management, with full P&L responsibility for iconic brands like Heinz Ketchup. After three years at the company, Dan was one of the youngest employees to make Global Partner. In 2015, he helped integrate Kraft into Heinz after the merger. Dan’s last role at Kraft Heinz was leading the $2B condiments portfolio.
Dan then joined Edward Marc Brands – a chocolate company in the CPG space. He progressed through leadership roles in Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Finance. During Dan’s tenure, Edward Marc Brands appeared on the INC5000 ‘Fastest Growing Companies in America’ list for six consecutive years.
In 2021, Dan became the CFO of Milkshake Factory. He’s helped grow the Corporate Owned business from 1 store to 10 and is excited to lead Milkshake Factory’s next chapter into national franchise expansion as President.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from The Honors College at Michigan State University and an MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
