Jonathan serves as the General Counsel and Chief of Staff for Franworth. He is a member of the Michigan State Bar, American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, and the International Franchise Association, where he currently serves on the Legal Symposium task force. He is also a Certified Franchise Executive.
Jonathan has spent over ten years serving the franchise industry. Beginning his franchising career operations with Molly Maid in 2007, he later became In-House Counsel for Molly Maid and its affiliate, Service Brands International, where he supported other franchise brands, including 1-800-Dryclean, Mr. Handyman, and ProTect Painters. He focused on establishing and improving interdepartmental procedures while providing legal administration for the brands.
In 2015, after assisting with the sale of Service Brands International to the Dwyer Group in June of 2015, Jonathan became corporate counsel for the Dwyer Group, adding several brands to his practice, including The Grounds Guys, Mr. Appliance, and Five Star Painting in addition to those he was already serving. He advised such brands on all franchise matters while leading numerous legal projects before joining Franworth in 2016.
